גוגנהיים פועל בירושלים כבר 40 שנה וחתום על יצירות אדריכליות בולטות שעיצבו את האורבניות הישראלית האותנטית והחדשה. בין השאר תכנן את בית הספר הבינלאומי להוראת השואה, ופרויקט יוקרה גדול להתחדשות עירונית בשכונת יד אליהו בתל אביב.
הספקטרום הרחב של העבודה והמורכבות הספציפית של כל אחד מהפרויקטים טיפחו את הגישה האדריכלית רבת הפנים ושילבו יצירת עדכניות לצד שימור המורשת ההיסטורית והתרבותית.
